Steeplechase Statue

This marvelous horse sculpture depicts an equestrian rider vaulting over a wall.

The rider has both feet in the stirrups and a very firm grip on the reins so as not to be thrown off during the jump. He is also wearing a helmet for protection. The horse has its rear legs on the ground and its front legs and torso are mid-jump over the vaulting wall.

This horse statue is full of splendid detail. Look at the leather bracers wrapped around the horses front legs, the intricate folds of the riders jacket, the marvelous etchings of the saddle, and the detailed lining of the veins on the horses face. This equestrian rider and horse statue pays homage to the craft of horse training and SHOW.

You can personalize the black base with a plaque. We would recommend a black plaque with gold colored letters. The sculpture is made of resin then electroplated with bronze. Base measures 9 x 4.5 x 1.5 inches.
